San Francisco Public Health Emergency Leave
Effective October 1, employees in the San Francisco office will be entitled to Public Health Emergency Leave for public health emergencies. The leave will be in addition to other paid leave available to you. You may use public health emergency leave during a public health emergency if you are unable to work (or telework) due to any of the following reasons: (1) The recommendations or requirements of an individual or general federal, state, or local health order (including an order issued by the local jurisdiction in which you or a Family Member you are caring for resides) related to the Public Health Emergency. (2) You, or a Family Member you are caring for, has been advised by a Healthcare Provider to isolate or quarantine.
(3) You, or a Family Member you are caring for, is experiencing symptoms of and seeking a medical diagnosis,
