writing or orally, ask you to prepare and submit a written request. Within 14 days of your request, we will meet with you to discuss your request. We will respond to your request in writing within 21 days of that meeting. If your request is denied, we will meet with you to attempt to determine a flexible or predictable working arrangement that is acceptable to both you and the Firm. We will provide you in writing the basis for the denial and provide you with notice of your right to request reconsideration and your right to file a complaint with the Office of Labor Standards Enforcement. You may submit a written request for reconsideration within 30 days of the denial. A Flexible or predictable working arrangement may be altered by mutual agreement between you and the Firm. If the arrangement causes undue hardship for the Firm, we will meet with you to determine a different flexible or predictable working arrangement that would be acceptable to both you and the Firm. If we are unsuccessful in determining a different arrangement, we may revoke the existing arrangement after that meeting with 14 days written notice to you. Venable prohibits taking adverse employment actions against you because you are a caregiver or because you exercise your rights under the ordinance.
