Jury duty while you are receiving Workers Comp benefits If you appear for jury duty or are required to appear in court as a witness during this period, you will not receive jury duty pay. You will be paid per the workers comp plan. Bereavement leave during the Short-term Disability Benefit Period You will not receive bereavement leave pay while you are receiving Workers Comp benefits. You will be paid per the workers comp plan. FMLA and Workers’ Compensation Coordination The Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA) will run concurrently, as applicable, with any leave taken as a result of a workplace injury or illness.
