Continuation of Benefits While on short-term disability, your group health, dental, and vision insurance benefits will continue. Venable will continue to make its employer contribution, including the benefit credit, if applicable. Coverage for group life insurance, supplemental life insurance and long-term disability insurance will also continue while you are on short- term disability. You also may elect to continue participation in the Retirement plan. For more information on your benefits, please refer to the appropriate summary plan description. Holidays during the Elimination Period Employees on paid or unpaid leave during the elimination period will receive applicable holiday pay. Any Venable observed holidays that occur during the elimination period, whether you are on paid or unpaid leave, will be counted as a day of disability toward the elimination period as long as you were unable to work on the holiday, as certified by your physician.
