Leave of Absence

Medical (Non-FMLA) Leave of Absence There may be a time when you need to request a medical leave of absence (MLOA) but are not yet eligible for Family and Medical Leave (FMLA) or you may have exhausted Family and Medical Leave. Depending upon all of the circumstances, including our business needs and your ability to substantiate through physician documentation, leaves of absence may be granted. Venable complies with the provisions of the Pregnancy Discrimination Act (PDA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and the Americans with Disabilities Act Amendments Act (ADAAA). A leave of absence under this policy should be requested when:
